Join us for an evening of the wonderful wines from Lingua Franca, paired with culinary delights from Chef Arwen. If you aren't familiar with Lingua Franca, this winery based in the Willamette Valley, was acquired by Master Sommelier Larry Stone. Larry's resumé is quite impressive, he was named Best Sommelier in the World in French wines early in his career, and worked with culinary legend Charlie Trotter as well as the Four Seasons. When he purchased the land for Lingua Franca, he brought in reknowned regenerative viticulturist Mimi Casteel, who assisted in vineyard placement and management. This attention to detail has created some great fruit that produces great wines. They mostly farm Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as the climate of the Willamette Valley is akin to Burgundy.
